When in doubt, we advise you to pick the smaller size.

The Novamed MAX Hinged Knee Support with Crossed Straps is available in the sizes S - XL. 

And for the right size, you are to measure the circumference of the knee while standing with the knee slightly bent (see illustration). 

If you have a rather large upper leg or calf, we always advise to take one size up from the indicated size.

The Bauerfeind GenuTrain S Hinged Knee Support is available in the sizes 1 - 7 in a Left and Right version. And for the right size, you are to measure the circumference of the thigh and calf at the points described below and shown on the illustration.

POINT 1  4.72 inch (12 cm) below the kneecap

POINT 2  5.51 inch (14 cm) above the kneecap (Don't measure too tightly) 

Bauerfeind SofTec Genu Knee Support with Adjustable Hinges Measurements

The Bauerfeind SofTec Genu Knee Support with Adjustable Hinges is available in the sizes 1 through 6 and is available for both the left and the right side. 

You are to measure the circumference of your leg in three places, as indicated on the illustration on the right.

We also advise not to measure the circumference too tightly.
